Welcome to Learning guides

As sometimes it may be difficult for you to find things in the blog, I have started designing some new learning guides which will help you find your way in the blog and outside. The guides are meant to be a selection of links and exercises to reinforce and extend what we have learnt in class in each unit, they are not compulsory and you may choose just to do some of the exercises, which I am sure can be of good help to you.
I hope you like them!

How many words can you make?

Try and see how many words you can make at Fowlwords!

Pronunciation 1: Luck or lack?

If you want to learn more about similar vowel sounds in English, I recommend you to visit the BBB learning site, there you can watch some videos and do some exercises. Why don't you start this time with the confusing sounds of words such as luck and lack?

Song: It's probably me

Click on the player to listen to the song (if it doesn't work, go to Ana's Podcast and listen to episode 1), and then do the exercises here: It's probably me

Vocabulary: Friends

Practice your vocabulary at esl-lab

Listen!: friends

At Focus English you'll find some audio extracts about friendship which can be of good help for you to practice your listening. There are no exercises to do, just listen!

You can later visit Elllo, where you can listen to Jason talking about his neighbours and help him place them in their room.

Friends, friends, friends

Have a look at the list of conversation questions about friends, choose one or two and talk about them
